This category is a place users of the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and Crossref plug-in can discuss any issues and challenges, share their experiences and discuss any news or upcoming developments. OJS is a journal management and publishing system that has been developed by the Public Knowledge Project. PKP is working with Crossref to improve the level of overall DOI export support provided within OJS.

Hello,

Are you using OJS to register your content? If yes, what specific error are you receiving while attempting to deposit your content? Please include a screenshot of the error, if possible.

after trying deposited the paper the following error appears  
Registration was not fully successful! The DOI registration server returned an error.

Hello,

I have checked your recent deposit history, and one of the submissions has persistently failed with the below error:

```auto
<msg>Error validating schema crossref4.3.6.xsd : Error: cvc-complex-type.2.4.d: Invalid content was found starting with element 'ORCID'. No child element is expected at this point.
</msg>

```

The error is coming from the ORCID iD you included in the alt name section as shown below:

```auto
            <alt-name>
              <name language="ar">
                <surname>زيد</surname>
                <given_name>أحمد</given_name>
              </name>
            </alt-name>
            <ORCID>https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4982-0996</ORCID>
          </person_name>

```

Could you please exclude that ORCID iD in the alt name section, and redeposit the content? Do let us know if the error still persists.
