Good morning.
Is [Crossref](https://www.crossref.org/metadatamanager/) completely disabled? I am trying to access it and it won’t let me. “503 Service Unavailable.
No server is available to handle this request.”
Thank you.

It is now accessible, but when I open a menu in a newly created record, for example Contributor, the screen goes blank.
Thank you and best regards.

Hello,

Thanks for your message.

Our tech team is aware of this issue that is affecting metadata manager users, and they are investigating.

In the meantime, we are advising all metadata manager users who are facing this issue to opt and use the newly released [Record Registration Form](https://manage.crossref.org/records) to register their content. Below is the guide on how to use the record registration form to register your DOIs.

* * *

Broadly speaking, assuming you have recently published a new issue of your journal and you want to register DOIs for an article(s) in the issue, the steps to take to use the [Record Registration Form](https://manage.crossref.org/records) are:

1. Sign into the [Record Registration Form](https://manage.crossref.org/records) using your Crossref credentials

2. After you have successfully signed in, select ‘New record’ to begin your registration

3. On the ‘New record submission’ screen choose ‘Journal Article’ and click ‘Continue’

4. Enter metadata for an individual journal article (if you are registering more than one article, you’ll be prompted to add more articles later in the process):

5. Click ‘Next’

6. Enter the metadata for the journal that your article is published in:

7. Click ‘Next’

8. Review the metadata that you have entered thus far for your journal article into the form; if you have **no corrections** and are ready to submit your metadata for registration, select ‘ **Submit** ’

9. If your journal article was submitted successfully for processing, you’ll receive a record submission complete message and submission ID on this page

10. If you’d like to add another journal article in this same journal or issue, select ‘Start new submission’

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Best,
Evans

Thank you for your reply. I am sending you a screenshot of what appears when you start the Metadata Manager application. It seems to have got stuck on a task. Thank you.
