# Article Sharing Framework support

Does the deposit schema support additional metadata to participate in the Article Sharing Framework initiative?

The documentation[1] says we need to provide additional metadata in registration XML as such:  
\<license\_ref applies\_to=“stm-asf”\>[https://doi.org/10.15223/policy-002](https://doi.org/10.15223/policy-002)\</license\_ref\>

The highest version number I can see on the Crossref site is still 4.4.2

Not yet - we’ve added the ASF update to our roadmap but haven’t added support to our schema yet. The roadmap is available here:

Our product team is still assessing this project and figuring where best to fit this into our development schedule.
