# Register DOIs before the online publication

Dear Community,

Univ. Paris Cité is a new CrossRef member and we plan to open our publishing platform in Septembre. I have to insert DOIs URL on the publication. Is it satisfactory to register DOIs one month before publication, what are the impacts?

It means that new DOIs will be created and they will not be accessible for 3 or 5 weeks.
