"Cite" functionality in Crossref Metadata Search not working

When browsing the results clicking “Actions” then “Cite” on a result opens a dialog from which, supposedly, shows the citation of that result in different formats. However, right now (for me) this dialog is not displaying anything. Looking in the developer tools, requests like the following are made:

https://search.crossref.org/citation?format=bibtex&doi=10.1016%2Fs0006-3495(68)86510-5

These requests succeed according to the HTTP status but do not return anything.

Thanks for your post! Yes, this looks to be broken. I’ve created a request with our technical team so they can investigate. You may follow our progress here: [CR-675] - Jira

As for alternatives, you can also get bibtex from our REST API:
https://api.crossref.org/works/10.1016%2Fs0006-3495(68)86510-5/transform/application/x-bibtex

Or, via content negotiation at https://citation.crosscite.org/
