What can we talk about?
A few things we’d especially like to discuss this year:
- Technical support—questions about metadata deposits, workflows, integrations, and the REST API.
- Crossref programs and services—what we’re working on and how our services are developing.
- Membership—how your organisation participates in Crossref, how to get more from your membership, and an update on our Crossref Member Practices consultation.
- Schema 5.5 and CRediT—the latest schema now supports multiple contributor roles, including CRediT. If you already collect contributor role information, you can now register it with Crossref.
- Content registration tools—Metadata Manager now supports books and chapters.
- Membership and fees—we’ve made changes to our fee structure, including a new lowest membership tier and simpler registration fees.
- Service Providers—we’ve relaunched the Service Providers program to clarify how service providers support metadata registration with Crossref.
