CRossref database error?

Recieved this error after submitting XML:

Are you able to accept XML deposits now? Will the deposits receiving this error be re-processed later?

Do you happen to have a submission ID for the registration that is triggering this error message? We did have a release earlier today, but I’m not aware of any lingering issues. A submission ID would help me verify.

The submission ID is returned in the email submission log where this error message would have appeared.

I found it using your admin tool. The submission id that had this error is:

1634040952

It was resubmitted soon after and it worked.

Thank you for the submission ID @mklem . I see that the DOI in that submission has been resubmitted and registered with us. When I reran submission 1634040952, I now get a timestamp error, which means that the DOI was previously registered.

You should be all set on this example and any others that triggered this error. That was on our end, but it should be sorted now. If that is not the case, please do let me know.

I am seeing this error again this morning. Submission id is 1634349273
Saw it twice this morning.

Thank you for flagging this to us. In the initial submissions, I see that there is one success message and one failure, even though the submission only contains one DOI. When I rerun the submission, I get a timestamp error, which means that we are indeed storing the previous, successful submission.

That said, these are certainly weird submission errors/logs. I have flagged this to our technical team so they can review the issue.
