The DOI for the following title is returning a 404:
I have tried re-submitting the DOI this morning. The job did not return any errors:

Please can you advise on why this title is returning a 404 error?

Thanks for your message. DOI https://doi.org/10.51952/9781529238181 is in co-access in our system. Co-access and multiple resolution are served by our REST API. Because there is a lag between when a DOI is registered or updated and when we fully index that registration, there can be these weird interim periods between the registration and indexing when the DOI resolves to a page with an error. That lag can be up to 24 hours.

Our program and technical teams are aware of this 24-hour period of time where end users would be greeted with 404 errors. They are investigating improvements to this process.

From what I can see in the Crossref admin portal, this DOI was submitted on the 21st of September, so there was over a week of lag. Either way it is working now.

In the future, if you notice that the DOI is resolving to an error like that and it has been 24 hours do let us know so our technical team can investigate. Glad this one is sorted for you!
