Hello,

This message means that the ISSN you have entered for the journal does not match with what our system expects, because the same ISSN was previously used with a journal of a different title. In this specific deposit, you gave the journal title as “American Journal of Clinical and Medical Research” - but we have previously had the journal with the ISSN 2835-9496 registered as “Small Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Cervix A Case Report and Literature Review” (10.71010/2835-9496 ).

It sounds like that might have been a mistake, and that you registered “Small Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Cervix A Case Report and Literature Review” as a journal record when you actually meant to register it as a journal article. If 2835-9496 should actually be the American Journal of Clinical and Medical Research, let us know and our Support team can help you.

When registering journal articles, matching the title of a journal exactly with what our deposit system expects is a requirement regardless of which method you use - see our documentation. I see that in this case you were using the web deposit form, but you have also previously used the new tool we talk about in this thread. To avoid the frustration of receiving submission errors due to slight differences in spelling, we have built an ISSN lookup into the new form:

This allows you to enter the ISSN of your journal and have the title automatically filled out in exactly the way that the system expects it and will accept it. It would not have helped in this specific case because the existing journal title expected by the system is actually the wrong one, but it will be useful for others who have had their submissions rejected before due to typos or small differences in spelling.
