Great question. If you’d like to correct this error via the Web Deposit Form, simply resubmit all the metadata for this DOI, with the correctly spelled article title this time. Make sure that you enter the exact same DOI you previously registered (10.63329/av3nz12323) in the DOI field; you will want to be careful that you do not inadvertently register a second duplicate DOI for this article.
It may also be easier to correct the misspelling via our Metadata Manager. If you go to the Edit Record area of our Metadata Manager and log in with your depositor credentials, you can enter the DOI you wish to edit the metadata for:
From here, the metadata you previously submitted should appear within the text-entry fields. Find the article title, correct the spelling, and then proceed through the form to resubmit the DOI’s metadata record. This method should mean that you will not need to manually reenter all of the DOI’s metadata, unlike in the Web Deposit Form.
Let us know if this works for you, or if you have any other questions!
I assume you’re using the Metadata Manager to update your records? In this case, it looks like your older DOIs were submitted with a different journal title, Scientific Societal and Behavioral Research Center. To update this, you’ll need to access each DOI that was registered under this old title in the Metadata Manager.
Go to Edit Record and find or search the relevant DOI.
Navigate to the Journal page. You should see the old journal title and no ISSNs:
