Hi,

I would like to upgrade the Public Identifier Plugins in OJS.
Where can I obtain the plugin file to upload into the system?
Also, after upgrading the plugin, is it possible for DOI to be generated automatically?

Thanks for your questions.

Yes, OJS can be configured such that DOIs are automatically assigned to each article you publish, and such that the required metadata is submitted to Crossref in order to register each DOI upon the article’s publication.

OJS is not our product, so we’re limited in how much we can help you with its use.

We have some documentation on our end for how the OJS plugins interact with Crossref’s systems.
