If you register your DOIs by uploading an XML file, you can keep doing that. The process won’t change. It will remain the same.
My only suggestion is that you may want to check out our latest XML schema (Version 5.4.0) . We have also released an example of XML for journal articles under this schema version, which could be helpful for you:
Like Arley explained, there are no changes for members who are uploading their own XML file. As a reminder, you may follow these steps if you are producing your own Crossref-formatted XML:
If you generate your own XML files (or export them from OJS), you can deposit these using the deposit admin tool.
The uploaded file will be added to the system submission queue. We’ll email submission reports and query results to the email address you specified in the uploaded file.

Thanks for following up. Unfortunately, the XML submitted via submission ID 1726340800 was not properly formatted. I have corrected that formatting (corrected XML file attached to this message) and resubmitted your XML. The metadata has been updated successfully in submission https://doi.crossref.org/servlet/submissionAdmin?sf=detail&submissionID=1727818567.

الخلط بين ملف الإيداع (doi_batch) وملف التشخيص (doi_batch_diagnostic)
Hello, I am sending you the XML file generated by the ojs system.
And he who refuses to deposit in crossref
I want to know the problem because I have 16 journals on the ojs system and I don’t want to automatically submit the article. There is a problem with automatic submission; it’s not possible, and there is no option to submit the issue’s specific content.

This is the problem when uploading an XML file from the OJS system.
Shapovalov (Scientific Research Establishment of Innovations for Future LLC) <notifications@crossref.discoursemail.com>:
Could this be taken off the Crossref general listserv and be a tech support question between only those involved? I keep getting every response. This isn’t an appropriate use of the listserv, right? Thank you!
This is an appropriate use of the Community Forum. I’m sorry that you’re getting unwanted notifications about these posts, but this is a reasonable place for @rwaida and anyone else in the community to ask and answer these questions.
